Thank you to my sister Christel Hass and all her fellow cleaners at VJH! The cleaners literally wipe out Covid and ensure our hospital floors, walls, bathrooms etc are clean and virus free. You can't be more front line then our cleaners! Proud of you all and thankful for the work you do! from the heart.
Heidi F.
Thanks to Drs. Humphreys and Cunningham of the Cancer agency for their kind care and patients with my husband as they treat his melanoma.
Mellissa R.
I am absolutely delighted to show my gratitude and thanks for all that our amazing medical staff does for all of the communities in the area of Vernon! The endless days and nights of little sleep, and missing their OWN family gatherings to look after those of us who require their skill in our times of medical distress, are something NOT to be taken for granted! I am very fortunate to have a team of 3 family physicians who share not only a practice, but also their patients, so that if one is too busy I can see one of the other 2. A wonderful model that works very well both for them AND their patients!! I send these three, and all the other hard-working nurses, aides, doctors and medical staff who make our VJH the amazing place we are proud to call “Our Hospital”, my deepest love and gratitude for all that you do for the citizens of Vernon. You truly are angels of mercy!
Doreen H.
Thanks so very much to all of you brave souls on the front lines. Also want to shout out to public health nurses who are still out in the public looking after new moms, giving vaccines and setting up and administering Covid testing sites.
From our hearts to yours.
Helen T.
Thank you so much to everyone at VJH ... for everything
Kate L.
Thank you to all our healthcare workers. And a shout-out to our acute care Respiratory Therapists, our specialists who take such good care of patients.
D M.
You simply are an amazing and most appreciated group of people in our community.
John G.
Our thanks, our prayers and our hopes are with you for your health and well being.
Thank you so much for taking care of everyone. Psalm 9:18: For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever.
Ryder F.
We see you. Working hard every day to take care of our community.
Heather P.
We love you all: medical staff, frontline workers, care givers, paramedical teams, janitorial staff and long term care facilities staff.
May God bless you.
Gogi G.
Thank you for staying and caring even when it may cost your life.
Thank you for still being there even if you don't get to see your family. You are amazing for working there before and after covid19 came out. You still care for the people who put your life at risk. You put in so much effort and work into your job it inspires me. Every time you save a life you help the whole community and I really appreciate you for doing what you do! Every small move you make makes a huge impact on people's lives! If no one cares and you do, you make them happy! If they are hurt and you help them they don't have to suffer anymore! In all you are very helpful to our community and the world, you are the few people who would risk your life to save others! I just want to say thank you for that!
Cali G.
Thank you for helping us when we are sick and saving peoples lives.
Alisha B.
Your dedication and service to our hurting community is amazing! You truly do care from your heart as you boldly serve in this difficult season. This community cares about you and prays a blessing over you. God is good, and I pray that he gives you strength, courage, and joy. Jesus said this to his disciples which is true in our day: "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) Be blessed, and be a blessing to others!
Chris B.
I really think what your doing for these people is really great and I think the White Hearts are a great idea!
Hannah B.
Thank you for committing yourselves to providing all the necessary help and looking after all the patients. You're risking your life and health in this time of the crisis that we are facing. God made each of us different in a good way. He never makes any mistakes, he loves you all the time, with all his heart, and he is always there for you. 2 Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Kaitlyn A.
Thank you for helping our community and risking your lives to save ours. What you guys are doing is really nice. Even if it is a really dangerous job to have right now, you guys are really brave to have this kind of job. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us.
Sylvie D.
Thank you so much for risking your own health to help out our community. I think that what your doing is great and that you should keep doing what you are doing.
Makenna C.
A verse that I have been looking to a lot has been Luke 17:11-19, when Jesus heals the 10 men with leprosy, and I think that if he was willing to heal them out of love, then I think that he would be willing to heal us out of love as well.
Eva K.
I have had the honour of working beside the amazing team at VJH for the last five years as a Security Officer. Day in and out you are amazing. I have watched you laugh, cry, and support each other. Our health care workers are held up there with all the troops that fought in both World Wars. They are putting their own safety aside to help others in this very troubled situation with the Covid-19 pandemic. Their tireless work to help the sick is beyond the ordinary call of duty but their dedication and commitment to their profession is something that not all people really appreciate. My prayers and good health go out to them and their families.
Faye M.
Thank you to everyone involved with health care provision. You are heroes.
June M.
Words can't express how grateful we are for your dedication and resolve to fight this virus and the risks you have to face. Stay strong. ❤
Elizabeth & Peter M.
Throughout my 25-year career as a paramedic with the BC Ambulance service, I don't recall anything as serious as what we seem to be facing today. I retired several years ago, but my daughter is a registered medical radiographer at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. With shifts in the ER, OR and cath lab, she is directly on the front line facing the coronavirus daily, as many of you are! It brings home to me for the first time, that there is a definite possibility of a direct impact on my family members of a serious threat. I believe I understand your fears, and I recognize your dedication, unselfishness and bravery. Please know that there are people out here with sympathy and compassion for all health care workers and your families. Thank you for helping us.
Barry M.
Thank you for everything you are ALL doing to help in saving our lives. Not just the doctors and nurses, but every single person at VJH is valued beyond belief.

I am deeply humbled and grateful for the care I received during my extended stay. Everyone was always caring and gracious in the way they interacted with me on a daily basis. You are all amazing! ❤❤❤
